Stand up and be Counted!!!

We hope for the sake of our children that the CKSSDA survives.

Do we want our local kids playing at Grangemouth, Stirling, Alloa, Outer Hebrides etc

Would the "Reaper" and "Knights templar" make themselves known as they seem highly critical of the status quo yet hide under assumed names, stand up and be counted!!!

We think it unfair that TM (Tam Meechan) and RF (Raymonf Fisher) should get all the flack. they did a tremendous job over the last few years.

People have short memories, the above did a great job for this association for a number of years and should not be forgotten

Maybe the years have caught up with them, it happens to us all!

Sometimes it is easy to be critical, but remember how many people came forward at the meetings to run the league.

Do we hear a deafining silence!

Last season CKSSDA had teams from Fife and Stirling through to Bishopbriggs and Coatbridge - do you propose that the new improved CKSSDA only allows entry from teams in Cumbernauld and Kilsyth?

Maybe the years have caught up with them, it happens to us all!

Unfortunately a week before the new season is not the ideal time for this to happen - hence some of teh anger on show


BTW - Our team will be playing in the CSFDA League this season, with fixtures already arranged and posted up until Christmas. This is the kind of thing that drove us away from CKSSDA.

Although I am not sorry to have left for these type of reasons, I wish all of the teams in the CKSSDA set up good luck and hope their kids are playing football within the next couple of weeks

how long does it take to go from cumbernauld to grangemouth 15-20 mins -how long to kilsyth 10-15 so there is a 5 minute difference in travelling time - all that matters is wee kids getting a game and also enjoying themselves - it is kids we are talking about and that is the reason there is so many problems- we only left ckssda at end of season due to the fact that all our fixtures are now 1 x home then 1 x away - we will play each team twice only this season - we have all our fixtures till december (have had for 1 month now) and this allows our parents - coaches and players know what they are doing and when -
my players have no qualms travelling 15 -20 mins or even 30 mins to play games - we are all here to play games
hope all turns out well in ckssda because its where we started last season and still have excellent relationships with all concerned there from many teams .

I agree with Kilsyth - lets not blame Tam - he was doing his best and put lots into it - for no reward

Cumbernauld and Kilsyth will survive - we will have a league next year

Good luck in central - but rest assured CandK will be happening - come to Mondays meeting and move on
